ABOUT US
OUR PRACTICE
Find us in Welling, on the London/Kent border and close to Welling train station. Conveniently we are orthodontic specialists and general dentists combined. Located on the first floor we have five purpose built, air conditioned surgeries. We employ two part time orthodontists and four full/part time general dentists. Two part time hygienists and a visiting implant surgeon complete our team of clinicians. Assisting us we have qualified dental nurses and welcoming reception staff.
We provide NHS and Private dental care to all. Cosmetic and implant dentistry are provided in-house. Children are referred for NHS orthodontic assessment where eligible. Alternatively adults and children can pay for private braces.
With our purpose built decontamination suite we aim for excellence in cross infection control measures and are regulated by the Care Quality Commission. All staff receive regular training and participate in a program of Continuing Professional Development.
At SmileWelling we take pride in offering NHS care at a standard we ourselves are happy to receive. Private alternatives are always available and these are very fairly priced.
Quoted unhappy? Let us help you smile again.

PATIENTS JOURNEY
Impact on our services and how to stay safe
We are still following our Covid-safe method of working to keep patients safe. However, we are performing our full range of procedures from routine check-ups to cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics.
Our patients will be triaged upon booking their appointment and asked about Covid-19 symptoms and vaccination status.
On entry you will be asked Covid-19 triage questions again. We have hand sanitiser by the front door and at reception. You will need to wear a mask. We also ask our patient to always respect social distancing arrangements, especially at waiting room.
Therefore, we have kept distanced seating in the waiting room. You may be asked to wait outside if there are too many people in the practice.
Shielded and high-risk patients need to advise us of their status and can be seen first thing in the morning before the practice gets busy.
We are collecting data from all patients on behalf of Public Health England to monitor and manage the response to Covid 19 in respect of dental activity and to help us plan. More information is available on the NHS Business Services Authority website under Dental Services Privacy Notice.
